Off Hill Activities

Manage your own sled and mushing dogs whilst being supervised by a very passionate teacher. Prices start from €75 per adult and €35 for a child for 1 hour but to get the most out of this experience we recommend a whole day from 0930 to 1630 which includes lunch for €175 per person.
Get up on the mountain by foot with an experienced mountain guide that can tell you all about the scenery and wildlife of Serre Chevalier. We recommend Brit born Mike Rollins who is very passionate about the area and has different choices of excursion from beginner to advanced. Prices start from €25 per person for a half day and €45 for a whole day, with discounts for groups over 6 people.
Walking
There are roughly 25km of snowy paths to explore in the Serre Chevalier area. Take a look at this guide to get a better idea of what is achievable by foot! Or take a guided walk through the old town of Briancon to understand the history of the area.
Relax and take in the sites in quite a special way. Price start from €220 per person or make it a celebration with packages including champagne and massage!
Swimming
Possibly you are in the situation where you cannot get onto the mountain. Swimming is a fantastic rehabilitation tool in the sport world so take your pic from Briancon swimming baths with entrance starting from just €4.70 per person or the fantastic Monetier les Bain spa.
Bowling
Based at the bottom of the mountain in Chantemerle, this small but sweet bowling alley offers 4 lanes, funky tunes and a good pint! Prices start from €8 per person.
Choose from a covered rink in Briancon or one of the outdoor rinks in either La Salles les Alpes, Saint Chaffrey or Monetier-Les-Bains. Pricing starts from €4 per person.
Enjoy riding through snowy pastures or perfect your gallop. Prices starting from €25 per person for a 1 hour trot through the winter wonderland.

Based in Briancon, AlpSquash allows you to choose from a spot of squash, badminton *approx €10 including a racket* or golf practise *approx €19 for an hour*!

Should skidding around icy corners in a fast car be your bag this could be for you! Prices start from €99 for a 25 minute lesson.
Not as crazy as the car version, but hovering by it! Slips and skids the whole way for €25 for 10 minutes. Over 14 years only.
